The bago wine bar and wine store is a space conceived and created by Rui Martins. It was an old dream that came true on April 12, 2022.

We are located in the historic area of Faro, the capital of the Algarve. Next to the Belmarço Palace. Our terrace is right next to the city walls.

The whole concept is based on the old Portuguese taverns where Portuguese wines were drunk and snacked on in a relaxed and informal way. That's how it is at bago too. But we've added the quality of the wines and glasses.

All the wines can be drunk by the glass or by the bottle. There are over 160 references of Portuguese wine. 40 references of natural wines. All on the shelves divided by region. This is our wine list. Whatever you choose from the shelf is in our fridges to be served to you at the right temperature.All this can be accompanied by various snacks. Just choose from our menu.

We are also a wine store. You can go to the bago just to buy wine to take home. You can also buy wine at bago without leaving home. Through our website, in the order now section.
